Mantova > S. Benedetto Po > Mantova

Navigation with lunch on board

Trip duration: 5 hours
10:00 am: gathering of the passengers in Mantova (Via Lungolago Gonzaga – Lago Inferiore (Lower Lake)) and boarding.
10:30 am: beginning of the navigation starting from the Lakes of Mantova around the Virgilian old town centre to reach the “Vallazza”. It’s a humid area originated from the Mincio river, with a high naturalistic value due to its characteristic flora and fauna. It is also a place of community interest. Once reached Governolo we enter in the navigation floodgate which allows our boat to get over the different level between Mincio and Po rivers. Then we go ahead upstream in a middle point of the major italian river, the Po river.
1:00 am: Arrival in San Benedetto Po, turnabout and return to Mantova. Lunch on board of our motorship during the trip back to the city.

Menu: welcome aperitif with dry wine, appetizer with cold cuts (roast sucking pig, Parma ham, salami, polenta, slivers of Parmesan cheese, pickles), Risotto of Mantova with sausage, pumpkin tortelli, suckling pig with pistachios, roast potatoes, bread, Sbrisolona cake, Lambrusco red wine and white wine, mineral water, coffee.

3:00 pm: landing of the cruisers in Mantova, landing stage of via Lungolago Gonzaga – Lago Inferiore (Lower Lake).

4:00 pm: opportunity of a guided visit to the Mantova old town centre, service with a guide certified by the Lombardy Region (90 minutes). We will take care of booking the guide and the visits for you

THE RATE INCLUDES: cruise with guide on board who comments the route in Italian language, lunch on board (with the above mentioned menu).
