San Benedetto Po > Mantova

Navigation with lunch on board

Trip duration: 2,30 hours
12:30 am: gathering of the passengers in San Benedetto Po (landing stage on the Po river – Via Argine Po Nord, 65) and boarding.
1:00 pm: the navigation goes on for more than 2 hours, covering 28 km of river route which includes one of the middle lower parts of Po river and the picturesque Natural Park of the Mincio river. Navigation downstream for about 6 km on the Po river, towards the mouth of the Mincio river. Lunch on board of our motorship:

Menu: welcome aperitif with dry wine, appetizer with cold cuts (roast sucking pig, Parma ham, salami, polenta, slivers of Parmesan cheese, pickles), Risotto of Mantova with sausage, pumpkin tortelli, suckling pig with pistachios, roast potatoes, bread, Sbrisolona cake, Lambrusco red wine and white wine, mineral water, coffee.

1:45 pm: crossing of the floodgate of Governolo to enter in the Mincio river and in its Natural Park. Sailing up the river, we reach the “Vallazza”, a humid area originated from the Mincio river, with a high naturalistic value due to its characteristic flora and fauna. Arrival in Mantova - Lower Lake from where it is possible to see the most classic architectonic landscape of the Gonzaga’s Town which is reflected in the water of its lakes.

3:30 pm: landing of the cruisers in Mantova, landing stage of via Lungolago Gonzaga – Lower Lake.

4:00 pm: opportunity of a guided visit to the Mantova old town centre, service with a guide certified by the Lombardy Region (90 minutes). We will take care of booking the guide and the visits for you .

THE RATE INCLUDES: : cruise with guide on board who comments the route in Italian language, lunch on board (with the above mentioned menu)

THE RATE DOESN T INCLUDE: dinners and overnight stays, bus tickets, personal extra expenses and all what is not clearly indicated
