Mantova > Ferrara

The Renaissance capitals

Trip duration: 4 hours - Km 90
8:30 am: we start navigation on Lago Inferiore (Lower Lake), heading for the “Vallazza”. It’s a humid area, created by Mincio river, of great natural interest due to the wonderful flora and fauna..
9:30 am: navigating throughout Natural Park of Mincio river we reach Governolo and cross the navigation lock which allows to get over the different level between Mincio and Po rivers.
10:30 am: proceeding on Po path, observing background changes and different flora and fauna species, navigation takes place in the middle trunk of the longest Italian river. We hug many river islands, where you can see the plentiful fauna. In this section the trip will almost touch the villages of Revere, Ostiglia, Sermide, Castelmassa and Occhiobello.
12:30 am: arrival in Ferrara (S. Maria Maddalena – Province of Rovigo).
